Sarkari Naukri 2021: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has made special changes regarding recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector in UP Police. It is special information for the candidates who have applied for this post that the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has made two changes in the notification of SI recruitment for 9534 posts. The information of which has been released by the UPPRPB on the official website uppbpb.gov.in. According to which now the same candidate can apply for this recruitment, who is not born before 02 July 1993 and not later than 01 July 2000.
It has been informed by the UPPRPB that candidates should now apply only after taking the above changes into consideration. All other things of notification will remain the same.
Whereas according to the rules that were made earlier, it was said that the same candidate can apply for this recruitment who was not born before 01 July 1993 and not later than 01 July 2000. Apart from this, the rules regarding marital status of the candidate have also been clarified.

Eligibility
For the post of SI in Civil Police and Platoon Commander PAC – Graduation in any discipline
For Firefighting Second Officer – Graduate in Science side.
Age Range –
21 to 28 years. That is, now according to the changed rules, the candidate was not born before 2 July 1993 and not after 1 July 2000. SC, ST, OBC category of Uttar Pradesh will be given a relaxation of 5-5 years in the age limit.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates for sub-inspector recruitment will be on the basis of written examination, physical efficiency test and interview.
